I just found out a few days ago from Cindy Lane that Junior Brown is appearing at the Narrows in Fall River, Mass. tommorow night, Wednesday 1/24/17 at 8pm. This will be my third time seeing this great entertainer live.

Hey Manny, thanks for posting this. It prompted me to check his website and find that he's playing about an hour away at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA this Friday. Got tickets for me and my gal. Wish there was a way to support the artists we love without supporting the thieves at Ticketmaster though.

Manny, Thanks for the heads up, unfortunately he's playing B.B. Kings in New York tonight and I just saw this. Have seen him many times and have all his CD's. Too late to get there.

Good seeing you in Norwalk this past November!

Hope you enjoy the show!

Hi Harry, This is a little off topic, but Don Hemmer from Connecticut was playing a push/pull Emmons (#3?) at the Tiverton,R.I. VFW Sunday 1/22. What a jewel! Could this be the guitar you saw that Tommy Cass worked on?

Hi Craig, You do a nice job for the PSGA. I haven`t seen you play. Is this because you don`t play or are you playing possum? Your devotion to steel guitar would indicate that you are a fine picker.

Hi Manny,
I will have to get in touch with Tommy to confirm. Or if Don is on the Forum, he could confirm. If it is, that guitar is amazing in both looks and sound !!!

The Junior Brown show was well worth the money. He is still the master of shenanigans. One that I love is when he detunes his low E string on the guitar to several tones below and comes back to pitch every time. There are sounds or times when he appears to be attacking/assulting the Guitsteel resulting in hot licks or soulful sounds. The picks never fall off and he never drops the bar. Unbelievable!
