I'm hoping someone on the board may be able to help me find the backing tracks to the classic "Mel Bay's Deluxe Pedal Steel Guitar Method" by the iconic DeWitt Scott.
I have my physical copy of the actual book that I've owned for 10+ years, but somewhere along the way I lost the audio tracks that went with it. They aren't available that I can find on either the Mel Bay, or Scotty's Music websites - at least not without requiring me to repurchase the book again...
I just bought a used Carter S-12 E9/B6 after over a decade away from the instrument and I can't wait to get back in the seat again. I think that if I am able to get the backing tracks I need to help me adapt the lessons available in this book I will be able to more quickly get comfortable playing steel again.
I greatly appreciate any help for finding these backing tracks.
I am also interested in any suggestions on any other learning resources that you found to be more modern, interactive, comprehensive, understandable, or whatever.
Cheers,
Brodie |

Thanks a ton! I was not expecting such a perfect response at all - let alone so quickly!
Thank you again - now I'm going to go put this to some use. |

Is there also a download for Anthology of Pedal Steel Guitar by Dewitt? I lost that tape years ago. |

Wow Doug thanks a bunch! I didn't think I'd hear that again. There's some nice stuff on that I never got around to learning. |

Smart move. .. makes the book a more valuable proposition at minimal incremental cost and likely cuts wayy back on customer service issues. |
