Hello all,
I am looking for a 1950's Fender Champion 6 string lap steel. These are the MOT versions that were produced in the early 1950's. I would prefer the blue, green or red versions, but would also be interested in looking at a yellow one if it is clean. I would prefer one with the original case, but shoot me whatever you have.

Hi Jeremy,
I have one---a yellow Champion, from the 50's I believe, stamped #2098 on bridge, in good overall condition. It has original pickup, original fret board in very good condition, MOT finish in good condition, metal very good, alligator-cardboard case in poor condition. It has replacement tuners (Grovers); correct replacement tuners could be installed.
Price would be reasonable as tuners are not original--I'm thinking $600 shipped.

Still looking for early 50's Fender Champion lap steels, preferably in one of their custom colors, not yellow. Blue, green, copper, red, or gray. Let me know if you have one that you'd be willing to part with!

Bump back to the top....
Still looking for a Blue, Green, Grey, Red, etc. Basically any color Fender Champion Lap Steel.
Here's another picture of these laps in various colors. All of these belong to a good friend of mine.
If you have a Fender Champion that you would consider selling, please let me know.
