IF Live, do you think Buddy played his C6th solo without any pedals or knee levers ?

I see no sign of pedals being used for the solo in the video. It's my hunch that Buddy's part was mimed. Doesn't really matter. He could play that good live or taped.

For an advanced player. Pedals are not a necessity for the intro or solo. He only used the 9th string once the way I hear it. So playing it on a non pedal 8 string C6th, with a D on top, would be no real big deal. Executing it like Buddy. And doing so with a smile. Now that's a big deal.
