I would like to purchase a good working simple capo for resonator guitar.

Charlie's Pro Capo. The best capo out there. Buy quality once and you're done.

Jerry, the neck does make some difference, square or round. The Shubb type capo clamps to the back of the neck and over the fret and the Beard type clamps to the strings. I tend to like the Shubb sound better because it involves the neck. If your using a a pickup and amp it probably doesn't matter.

Square neck. I have a Sheerhorn capo that I like. I don't care for those that involve the neck. That is what I meant by simple.

Jerry, got an original brass Beard for $30 shipped if you're interested. JO. Clamps to the strings by the bone leading edge.

I have a drawerful of them. The Charlie's is the only one that gets used. Expensive, but you'll only ever need one.

And if you don't like it better than your Scheerhorn (got one of those too), I'll buy it from you. Or I can sell you one from the drawer!

How much for a Sheerhorn from the drawer?
Thanks,
