Anyone ever install tilt back legs on a Nashville 400? I'm thinking about putting a set of legs on a Peavey. Did Fender legs work on a Peavey cabinet/chassis?

Thanks.

yes the Fender legs would work but I went to Lowes and bought some aluminum strips and made some for mine.

My Nashville is a hair taller than my blackface twin. If I get Fender legs I will use Twin legs. I have a set of Twin legs. I just need to wait until the garage is warmer than 8 degrees F. BRRRR

I did exactly that many years ago. I now have them on a NV 1000. Works great, just have to get the placement right.

Before altering your amp cab you may want to research 'Amp Wedges'. They are made from some type of composite rubber compound and the angle of the amp is easily adjustable by simply moving the wedge. Mine fits neatly in the cab for transport.

For what it's worth, I installed 14" tilt-back legs on my Nashville 112. I absolutely love it. The only thing I'd warn is to make sure the stop pins are far enough that the amp wants to stay tilted back. Mine are on the brink of being not far enough, and it's annoying to the point that re-positioning the pins is on my to-do list, but not so high that I've done it in the past two years.

You might want to try one of these mounted on the bottom for tilt back, spring loaded so it's out of the way when not in use.
