I always enjoy trying to figure out how Lloyd did what he did. Even on the most obscure songs, the creativity and mastery is breathtaking. Here's my best attempt at this Lynn Anderson song from 1970. I was listening to random recordings yesterday and this break really caught my ear. It's similar to what Buddy Emmons played on Mr. Record Man by Jeannie Seely, i.e. playing an ascending chromatic line using strings 4 and 2.

There we see the master dressed in a blue suit backing Lynn Anderson on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. How I miss this kind of music!
