Up for sale is my 1940 National New Yorker. There's nothing wrong with it, but it sounds very similar to my 1942 New Yorker so I'm letting it go. This steel features an early version of the string-through pickup with individual coils for each string mounted above the strings. It has strong output (for its time, at least) and a warm, round tone. There is light wear all around, including some paint loss on the hand rest, but no damage or repairs. The tone pot and knob are replacements, but everything else appears to be original. It comes with a 1950s New Yorker case that fits it perfectly. I will include an adapter that will let you use any conventional 1/4" cable with the screw-on jack.

$SOLD includes shipping (within the US) and Paypal fees.
