I have been researching a bit about Hawaiian music in New York, late 50's early 60's.
I have a few Leo Addeo Hawaiian lps from 1959 to 1962 that have steel on them. One of the lps lists the credits for the steel players as: Al Chernet and Bill Suyker.
Anyone know anything thing about these two guys?
Although I'm really not a fan of the Leo Addeo treatment of Hawaiian music, nor the steel playing style, I'm still trying to find a bit of info on the two steel players listed.
Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks Michael, I figured they were studio cats, even Al Caiola is listed playing regular guitar.
I wish there was more info on these New York studio musicians, like there is on the Nashville ones...
