Finally got the Don Rich solo recording. This recording is perfect for playing backup steel. Plenty of holes to fill. Can't wait to try it. |

Could be a lot of players have never heard of this recording.
Originally recorded in 1970 but never released. It was found by former buckaroo keyboard player Jim Shaw while digging around in the Owens tape vaults and finally released in 2013.
This was also the period where the Buckaroos did not have a steel player in the band as J.D. had left. _________________ Rebel� |

but you make a good point about it being a perfect recording to play along with, Ron.
it's a shame JD wasn't with the Buckaroos a lot longer. Live in London is a fabulous document of those days, as is this great video from Norway:
