Thank you, Steve and Doug, for the very kind words! It's truly appreciated and makes me feel great! I was on tour out of the country until a few weeks ago so I haven't had any time to work up a set. That said, I am hoping to be there to play guitar with some of my buds, support everyone else, and enjoy the music and the camaraderie! Smile

This time around I'll just stick to playing bass for the usual suspects, and anyone else who'd want me. I've just had too much going on this year to put in the time to prepare a set on steel.

To my good friends and compadres that worry about "putting together a set..."

Y'all are monsters on whatever instruments you play. You could easily blow minds just by playing the head to whatever song you want, then jamming to your heart's content.

You all know that's what I do, but without the audience mind-blowing part.

Anyway, the real fun goes on in the bar with the Tribe Members Convention! I have some new material for y'all. Laughing

Is it too late? I hope not. I'm on the player list but I have no idea what to play. I need to think up some inspiring new ideas. Otherwise I guess I could do old stuff that I already played, but with all new mistakes for this year.

I have no idea what to play and worse yet, haven't played in about five weeks. It gets worse.....

Over the Thanksgiving holiday my boss scheduled me to be in Taiwan all week of the 9th! I was thinking I would have to miss the show. Thankfully, today we got that worked out. I will travel to Taiwan on Saturday and get back to Phoenix Wednesday night. Half dead probably but I will be there! On the upside, I should be properly jet lagged to hang out all night in the bar, even though I don't drink.

Does the SWSGA have an award for the person who travels the farthest for the show? I should be in the running unless Sez or Paddy are coming! Laughing Laughing

I really hate it but turns out I won't be able to make the show this year. We have purchased a new home and will be in the middle moving that week.. I had thought we would be done before then but it all got delayed.. Looks like I'll have to wait until Dallas to see everyone. In the mean time you guys all have a Merry Christmas and have a great show..
