Sad indeed...

Forumite Bob Metzger used to play with Mr. Cohen. Bob befriended me years ago and I would visit him occasionally at his home in Sherman Oaks, Ca. We fell out of touch and I later heard that he had left Leonard's band due to health reasons. Just wondering on this day about his well-being and whereabouts.

Yes--I thought of Bob too. He not only worked with LC, he produced some material and...was he band leader? That I'm not sure of. But his life and career were certainly entwined with the great Leonard Cohen.

Yes JL he may have been his bandleader...Can't recall for sure..

Bob's wife is an audio engineer and I'm also thinking she was involved somehow in the LC organization.

I think Bob lives in the Boston area now..plays in Ct now and then with Vince Thompson...
