The "official" key (according to the Tom Jobim website) is G, but having listened to George Shearing playing it in A, I decided it sounded better on pedal steel too.

I have not included all the repeated notes in the tab, nor have I attempted all the syncopations; but it should be clear enough what's intended. I haven't decided what do do in the middle eight so I left it to the flutes for now.

and a backing track (2-measure intro, 74 bmp) [ignore - improved version below]

What program did you use to create the tab+score?

Sibelius. Making it do tab is a bit laborious, but I can't be bothered to learn a new program.

It also generated the backing track, so two new programs Smile

I've improved the backing track with some extra cymbals:

This is the score it all comes from:

The piano guide is muted except where the left hand accompanies the flutes in the middle eight.

This is how it sounds with the piano throughout
