Body: Mahogany

Neck: Mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Gibson open back tuners, two single coil pickups, three-way pickup selector switch, vibrato bridge, independent volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Melody Maker is extremely clean, with only some very small dings and dents. The neck is nearly perfect with just a couple small dings on the back. The headstock shows some minor edge wear as well. Has some checking on the front of headstock and back of headstock. Plays and sounds awesome. Thanks for looking. Any question please ask.

Note: No Case or Trem Arm at this point.

A Melody Maker in this condition with THAT tailpiece is rare guys.
Leslie West (Mountain) played the hell out of one of these.

Leslie West played the Les Paul Juniors. He preferred the single cutaway as the neck was more stable. Joan Jett plays a modified Melody Maker.
I had a red one just like this that I convered to lefthanded and added two humbuckers, and a dual pickguard back in 1974. I traded it in on my Sho-Bud LDG.

True that, but when I saw him at a show here in Columbus he did the whole show on a single pup MM and he got a lotta rock n roll out of it. He said he was traveling light Smile
