What a great concert😃 Eddie Rivers on his multi neck Fender console steel was an an inspiration to listen to. I didn't know he also played saxophone but was wailing away.
Asleep at the Wheel has been together for 48 years. Ray Benson has such a deep voice, talented musician and featured every member of the group. You could tell they love what they do. 👠|

Hi Doug,
I was up front stage left and Eddie was stage right and he definitely played a multi neck Fender and was blue. It was either 3 or 4 necks but the angle I was at was hard to tell. That Fender seemed to sustain forever. I talked to him in the receiving line at the end of the night but was in such awe. |

Hey Len,
Thanks for posting. I just went to their website out of curiosity and turns out they're playing just an hour away from me tomorrow night in Cumberland, MD. Checking with my gal, but I'm hoping to make it.
So, stage right is the left side as viewed from the audience, right? |

When I saw them at the Wolf Den at the Mohegun Sun casino. Eddie was at the right of the stage as viewed from the audience.
Amazing band....one of my all time favorites! _________________ Sierra S10 (three!), Peavey 112 and 115, Benoit dobro, Beard Model E dobro, Beard Roadophonic, MSA Superslide, Dean Nickless custom dobro |
