Recently I posted about the mode knob on my Steelaire giving up.
Just like to give a big thumbs up for Pat Quilter and the Amp Factory from Brisbane for excellent service. the new part arrived today complete with instructions for fitting and no charge.Can't ask for more than that.

Hi Dick,
The mode switch just gave up.Good one day,the next intermittent on ch 1, ch2 ch1&2 then nothing.
These things happen but the attention I received to put it right being at the bottom of the world was outstanding.

So did you have to remove the board and solder it in or what?

Just a matter of removing the head, removing the switch and resoldering the new one in. Instruction for this are included and very clear.

Same happened to mine, I sent the amp head to Quilter, upon arrival it was immediately fixed and returned.
