Thanks for that Ernie..brilliant!!....BTW in 1984 I met you briefly at a gig in Mankato Mn. The band I was working in was to take over from your band the following day. You mentioned you wanted to go to Jeff Newman's for the Buddy Emmons week....time flys Confused

Thanks, Ernie - that's beyond gorgeous!

The 'Heart' link that follows on YT is pretty great too - Buddy on the JCH.

Watching this makes me want to cry... you can feel Buddy’s heart in this song, both beauty and pain

Beautiful, Ernie. Thanks for sharing that.
Pretty much not a day goes by where Buddy still doesn't enter my mind one way or the other, whether it's hearing a song, thinking of a lick or riff I learned from him. It's impossible to sit at the guitar and not feel his influence.

I know it's all in the hands and after all it is Buddy Emmons, don't want to start that argument, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to know what equipment he used there. From the growl and the fretboard, I assume it's the Zum Hybrid, but what else.?

Denny;

All I saw was the Zum to the Goodrich volume pedal to the Lexicon MPX-1 in the rack to a Nashville 112.

112 was set like this:
