While I have never personally met you or for that fact ever talked to you, I have seen some of your post offering your help when someone has a question. To take time out of your day and go help someone especially a Newbie ( Andrew Wright) whom I don't know either is just remarkable. It's people like you, Mickey Adams, Bobby Lee, Ricky Davis that makes this site so great and interesting. I to call myself a newbie as well eventhough I've own my Carter D10 for about 6 yrs it's been tucked away in the closet for 5 of those 6 due to me taking care of both of my parents until they passed.
In the past few months I've gotten it set back up and according to the tuner have gotten it tuned so now it's time to get back to trying to learn that beautiful insturment again. I just wanted to give you a Pat On The Back for helping that gentlemen.

Don, I appreciate it. With helping Andrew, I only took two hours of time that the law said I had to stay in the truck stop. And I got to both tinker with and make some noise with a pedal steel.
Yes, I love helping spread the steel, just as folks had helped me.
In my current day job, I can't gig much, so I just use my keyboard and help when I can.
