If this pedal is considered the Pro version I'll take it. Do you know if it's the standard or Pro? There's probably info to that effect on that sticker on the side.

On the side label it says telonics, their address, the number 643800, and MNSSB. And MVP 600 on the front. Thats all I can find, hope it helps.

Dave from Telonics designed the non-pro model to sound similar to pot pedals in that it only lets through certain frequencies. Pro pedal adds back the highs that are missing in pot and non pro versions of this pedals.

As it was explained to me, the pro model passes a bit more bass that the non-pro model cuts out to avoid the thumping noise that imperfect palm damping technique might create. Not sure if the Mullen version is marked with a full part number but there's more to the part number than FP-100. See the user manual or my review for a complete part number break down:

I guess we better get Dave in on this conversation then as I had a 20 minute conversation with him in Dallas 2 years ago and he never even mentioned the word "bass" in describing the difference between the two. He said most players wouldn't like the the extra highs as they are not used to hearing them. Said it would tend to make you sound sloppy until you learn to compensate. I opted for the "full range" sound of the Pro and love it.

Just pulled this off the Telonics site:

"What is the difference between the "Standard" and "Pro" pedal?

The standard volume pedal has been optimised to provide a flat response over the normal frequency range of the guitar. Beyond the normal frequency limits the frequency response has been gently rolled off so unwanted signals are removed. For most applications this pedal will provide a superior sound. For E9 only steel players this pedal is always recommended. For instruments that generate very low frequencies, such as 5 string bass guitar or very high frequency harmonics, such as keyboards, the "Pro" model is recommended. For some C6 players or E9 players that pick very cleanly and like to hear the pick attack, the Pro pedal might be preferred."

You just mentioned the word bass in your last post so truly the lows are different between the two versions according to your Telonics quoted post.

At any rare.t this is a fine pedal and I wish the op good luck in this sale.
