It took me a few moments to find the strings and tuners.

I think we've had a thread here in the past about the photo of the guitar shared by Dennis Smith.
And I like the steampunk "movement" as it were. The whole Jules Verne vibe that goes with it. If I were a young guy again I might be into that scene. And some of those steampunk chicks are pretty hot. 
Yes, the lap steel is pretty cool in a steampunk way, but would I spend $800 to have it delivered to my house what with all the cool lap steels out there?
Not in a million years.
Unless of course I were a young single guy and it might help me to meet steampunk chicks.

I have been told my IG-6 Fry Pan looks Steampunk when I set it on this table for this picture. My wife bought me the table for a gift...I love it.

The Steampunk aesthetic is a fun and creative vibe. I wouldn't do anything like it myself but I appreciate the heck out of the playful inventiveness of the genre.

Uh.......I see strings and tuners, a mic.....volume control......telegraph key...
I'm still not sure what it is but I'd like to try to play it.
