Cool! Here's another one. There's a lap steel in here somewhere!

That second one should be able to change its own strings.

Good grief, no kidding.
It took me a few moments to find the strings and tuners.

I wonder what the crank on the end is for?

The crank and all the other stuff on there does absolutely nothing. It's all for show. Steampunk is a style inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. The more unnecessary Victorian hardware, pipes, gauges, gears, cranks and pulleys the better!

Well, it's a nice try, but the ethereal confabulator is on backwards. Otherwise, perfect!

I think we've had a thread here in the past about the photo of the guitar shared by Dennis Smith.

And I like the steampunk "movement" as it were. The whole Jules Verne vibe that goes with it. If I were a young guy again I might be into that scene. And some of those steampunk chicks are pretty hot. Wink

Yes, the lap steel is pretty cool in a steampunk way, but would I spend $800 to have it delivered to my house what with all the cool lap steels out there?

Not in a million years.

Unless of course I were a young single guy and it might help me to meet steampunk chicks.

Cool stuff! I've always had a fondness for steampunk and its fantastical industrial flare.

I have been told my IG-6 Fry Pan looks Steampunk when I set it on this table for this picture. My wife bought me the table for a gift...I love it.

That's it, Terry! Lots of metal, gears, springs, and strings.

The Steampunk aesthetic is a fun and creative vibe. I wouldn't do anything like it myself but I appreciate the heck out of the playful inventiveness of the genre.

Yeah, it's fun, especially for gearheads and guys (and girls) who like to tinker with mechanical things. I like this amp, although it needs more rusty, useless parts on board.

Wow, a guitar, amp, tuner, mic all in one. Looks like a redneck workstation!
