Pretty cool Joachim.
But lest we forget, it was originally a Louvin Brothers song! _________________ Mark |

Yes Mark. But it was the pedal steel solo from "Sweetheart" that I wanted to point out. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Nice try, but no cigar. I've tried to play Lloyd's part on that song, on E9th steel. It's brilliant. I couldn't even come close, but at least I was closer than this guitar player. Kudos for trying, but it's just not possible on guitar. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

On the album I think the first two bars of the intro are Lloyd and the second part is Clarence White on guitar.
You are right, it doesn't sound as good as the pedal steel. I shouldn't have put 'he nailed it' up above. |
