This is such a wonderful story.
After finding this guitar for Buddy (Bob...thanks for your help too!), Jim Palenscar serviced it and changed the tuning to Buddy's specs. Then Jim and Jay Dee Maness flew themselves to Nashville with the instrument and personally delivered it to Buddy's door.
You guys are absolutely the best... I tip my hat to you both!
It's a good feeling to know Buddy was back to thinking about - and playing - music once again until the very end. Honestly, I never thought it would happen.
You guys sure did a very good deed!! Thank you to you and everyone else involved. |

Is this copedent the same he had on his D10-12 JCH steel, with the 10-string E9 and the 12-string C6?
Great story, Pali, thanks for sharing it! _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

I still have the Zum, great guitar.
Buddy told me several times, he loved the C6 tone on his white Sierra better than any guitar he had ever had. Thanks Jim, I know he appreciated your effort.

Glad to hear it all worked out Jim. That was a great thing you did for Buddy. Bringing him guitars was always a fun thing! I really miss him. Reading this made my day. |

Jim,
This is a great story about a great community of people.
BTW What kind of pickup did the guitar end up with?

Touching story. Reminds me a little bit, now that you have the guitar back, of how actor Steven Seagal, having acquired guitars from famous players, would not even wipe them down so as not to remove any of the star's skin oils from the guitar. _________________ ShoBud The Pro 1
