I've been worling on the diffrant types of introes
5511
1511,4151and4511. It would really be helpfull
if i had like 3 examples in the old country style.
Any help will be appreciater, thank you.

I agree with Ray, and Erv too... For me it would be more thinking than I’m used to if I had to think in terms of the numbers like 1511, rather than the ending of the song... The numbers would just tell you what that little melody at the end of a song is made up of, but you’re still thinking melody or the tag.

If you don't know the song in question, play a similar song....

Since I don't see a 4551, 1545 or a 5145, etc. I was thinking, he may have been asking for specific examples of the ones he listed. |

Some of my friends – who do not appreciate the qualities of a three-chord country song like I do – tell me ALL country intros sound the same. After checking a couple of hundred popular tracks, I must admit they are just about right. 
So learn two or three, and pick any of those – they should fit reasonably well.

I think it adds some spice to a song at times to do more than a simple intro.

I, too, usually play the last line or two of a song as an intro if I don't know the original intro. Only problem is that my brain wasn't programmed properly and have to hum the whole verse in my head at high speed to get to the last line or two! I just have problems doing it backwards!

Michael, how about trying songs like "Born To Lose", "Release Me",
"Crazy Arms", "A Way to Survive", and "Another Bridge to Burn".
On all of these songs you can play the intro just like the last line.
You could also use it for a turn around if you don't play the melody.
