I've owned 2 ShoBud SuperPros a 1980 new and I still own my 1981 used, both have that sweet sound.
I've never broken anything on either steel.
Although watching some players who are rough on steels the way they slam their knees and feet on the knee levers and pedals
I can see how they would break the pot metal parts.
Treat them with knindness and they'll last forever.
You're not driving a Mac Truck, you're playing music.
Treat them as such. IMO _________________ Private one on one lessons available

I thought pewter was a copper/tin alloy. Why would it have magnetic properties? _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!
