Hello my brothers and sisters in the Lord.
After going through my library not long ago, I came across this rendering of a song that we always sang at the home going services, of a beloved brother, or sister, that had boarded the glory bound train. We always wanted to say good by in an uplifted way. I thought it might be uplifting to some of us who watched that train, as it left this earthbound station. I hope that it is a blessing to all who listens.

Very funky, Bishop. It's got that hop--uplifting indeed.

The more I think about Stevie Wonder, the more I hear the harmonica in your parts.

This certainly contrasts with the Carter Family version. It's a song that we're all very familiar with, but you've breathed new life into it.

By the way, on a railroad topic, are you familiar with Life is Like a Mountain Railroad, otherwise known as Life's Railroad to Heaven? I'm sure you could do a great version of that, too.

Keep up the good works, Ronnie. Cool

Hi Charlie! Very Happy (McDonald)
Well, I guess they call that sound soul. It is rather hard to hide, no matter what kind of a musician one is. Thanks my friend.

Hey Al! Brookes Very Happy Always glad to hear from you, my friend. Yes, I am very familiar with both versions, but I`m afraid the Carters have really put their personal brand to their version. (smile) But, I think I`ll take a chance at it when I get my nerve up(Ha-ha). Also, my mother used to sing a pretty good version of "Mountain Railroad". I think I might take a chance at that one also. If I don't, I think I might get a lightening bolt from above, with a message of warning. Laughing Thanks my friend.
