Here's a fun tune I recently put together. I call it Powerglide. Thanks for listening.

---click---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kcmd6ZJTrQo

UPDATE:

Here's tab for the main run. When I slowed down the audio I realized that each time I play the pattern it's slightly different, just by one or two notes.
By the way, you can slow down youtube videos by clicking on the tool icon at the bottom of a video and reduce the video speed to 50% or 25%. It makes learning a lot easier. You may have to be signed in to Youtube to use that feature.

I also have this on my blog and it may print out better from there, not sure ---> http://playsteelguitar.com/blog/

UPDATE:

I just added the backing track to my blog: http://playsteelguitar.com/blog/

There is one track at full speed and another track at 20% slower.

Doug. ---- very clean and classy picking. I always enjoy a fast E9 tune by someone that can do it with the skill you demonstrate. You are a true pro quality player.

Killer, as always, Doug.

Any chance you're going to tab it and make it available to learn, one way or the other?

Thanks!

Thanks all, I'll probably tab out the main riff when I have time and put it on my blog. The pattern is similar to Weldon Myrick's "Hot Foot" pattern. It's also similar to the "Amazing one pedal, two finger, three string song" tab that was published back in the 70s.

Thanks Dale, that's a pattern I've been playing for quite a few years. It's basically a major scale so it fits over a lot of chord progressions. Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks guys, the pickup is the original Emmons pickup. The guitar is either a 1974 or 75. Some Emmons pickups had the white strip on the edge and some were all black on the edge. It just depends what materials were in stock at the time. Thanks for checking out the video.

A couple of members have asked about the gear I'm using. I'm playing through a black box, a Hilton volume pedal, Holy Grail reverb (spring setting), Nashville 112 amp.
