Revised listing:
This ZB is set up and ready to play (see copedent below) All pulls are balanced and the ZB 3-tap pickup sounds great.

I might be willing to change the setup for the buyer, if it doesn't involve too much work.

I am asking $1400 + shipping. PayPal is fine if you pay the fee. I am north of San Francisco & willing to meet within a reasonable distance.

I bought this ZB as a "project" about 3 years ago. A prior owner had removed the back neck and refinished it, among other things. (The original green color is under the end plates)
I took it all apart, cleaned it, installed ZB knee levers and pedals. It's adjusted and works smooth. I also replaced all the keys with clones from Gotoh (excellent). I re-wired the 3-way pickup with shielded wire.
Standard Emmons setup with E's on the left.
The finish is not as great as original, but it's ok. Ser #0294 - I was told that it was probably built in 1971. Since it did not have a logo, I put this one on.

The case is from a different ZB. I added padding to make it fit better.

I have a ZB D-11/10 and this one spends all it's time in the case. Hoping to find it a loving home.

EMAIL me through the forum please (not PM)

Here's some pictures...

This ZB is obviously lighter than a D-10.
It weighs 39 lbs (59 lbs in the case)

Any chance you could post a sound sample of the guitar in action?

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
You don't want to subject yourself to my playing...

I'm going backpacking this week, so won't be able to respond. Y'all think about how nice this ZB will sound in your house!
I'll check in when I get back

Cool

Hi Frank don't know if this will help but maybe Eric won't mind me posting a couple of sound clips of a ZB SD10 about the same year as his....Take Care Brian

Thanks Brian - nice playin'!
Bump this to the top for some air! Smile

By the way - this ZB is much easier to work on than a D-10 because you can actually get to the E9 pedals without removing all the C6 hardware.

Not much interest so far, so I'll bump it one more time. Smile
Nice playing & sounding ZB - just not the super looker.
