Lyle that is one of my favorite songs ever. Jimmy and I are from the same area in Virginia and we remain friends to this day. I produced an album several years ago and the artist recorded a version of this song. After it was done I sent it to Jimmy and he gave it a big "thumbs up". That made us all feel great.

I was unfamiliar with this song, so found it on the "InnerTube"

After spending my first Mother's Day without Mom, the song's words carries special significance.

Lyle, I can appreciate why you love the song.

Ricky, that's my favorite version too. After I lost my father in 2014 to lung cancer and then my wife was diagnosed with renal cancer less than a year later,it really caused me to re-evaluate my thought processes. My beliefs are way stronger than they were...

I'd love to get the tab to tgis song as well. I have played it and sang it on my acoustic, but being new to the PSG I've not yet even tried it...you k ow gow it is when someone mentions a great song and you think , "oh yeah that would be great on pedal steel"! This is a beautiful song. Jimmy sang it with Dailey and Vincent on a Faith program and, wow, beautiful!
