Many years ago, I remember accessing a site or two on dating Fender Champs I had. Now, I can't seem to find any site which lists them other than the odd reference to one's personal guitar and it's serial number and date.
Can anybody give me a guesstimate as to a Fender Champ S/N 8501 please?
Thanks and Aloha

If you search this forum for "dating fender champ" you'll find lots of previous discussions. Fender lap steels cannot be dated by their serial numbers as their other guitars can. Post a photo of your Fender Champ (with case if you have it) and we can offer guesses as to when it was made. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel
