I have a 1965 Gretsch Electromatic U.S.A. guitar and hard case. Guitar plays good and sounds good. There are no problems with the guitar serial number is 18629.
I can send more pics if interested. price is 1500.00 plus shipping.

Jim, I am not sure if it is or not. I have owned it for many years but have never checked with an expert to be sure. Right now my camera is broken but as soon as I can I will post more pics. thanks Winston May

winston, I can see what looks like a Gretsch label through the f-hole on the bass side. Can you read what it says? I think that there will be a Model Number and a Serial Number there.

Very interesting looking guitar! Thanks.

Thanks for checking. The numbers don't ring any bells for me, but maybe someone else will chime in here on them.

Again, very interesting. Good Luck with your sale. Cool

Possibly 1956..(by serial)...but non original pickups, knobs, Bridge etc.
Very nice Gretsch. Well worth the asking price.
