During the February meeting of the Texas Steal Guitar Association in Dallas, Texas Steve was asked 3 different times to play this selection.
Steve said "I don't know the chords, and would need to work on that."
However, after Ronnie Miller gave him the Eb - E as his use for the song, Steve treated us with a great rendition of a song he wasn't sure of.
Watch as he looks to the audience to see if he's how he's doing.
Here's Look At Us.

Wow! What a player!! To be able to play like that and need to "work it out". Hah! Some of us can only dream to ever play that good!

Whoa!

Awesome job, Steve!

Ditto what Paul said and yes, Steve is beyond awesome. He played that extremely well to have not been familiar with it. I've known Steve since he was young and he has never ceased to amaze me. I remember one year in St' Louis, Steve must have been in early 20's, he played a rendition of Ray Price song "For the Good Times." It was so smooth and perfect that the whole audience and the band were sitting there with their mouths open.

I love Steve's work, I have his CD, "Let The Games Begin", which is great.

I like his rendition of "Look At Us", although I found the echo/delay to be a tad overbearing for my tastes. Not a jab, I'm just saying, I doubt if I could sit through a full set of all that effect.

The bar slants are cool, and I loved the ending! Smile
