Custom guitar I had put together. Not for everyone at $2200 plus shipping. No expense was spared to create this thing. It's probably unrealistic for a partcaster, but those are some great little parts !! I paid retail for everything on it. I don't think anyone out there is offering a guitar with these sort of specs on it anywhere and I also doubt one of those 7000 buck Fender Custom Shop guitars could touch this one for playability or tone.

Fender licensed MJT Swamp ash body with black nitrocellulose lacquer but dull and smooth, very minimized shininess. Double-bound.
Some groovy checking but nothing poser-obvious as fresh relicing. Undercoat color is the same cream as the aged binding color. In time it will start to show through. Black Bakelite pickguard (one ply, five holes, same color as guitar)
Fender licensed Musikraft NECK - Rosewood capped roasted maple
2 piece baked Flame Maple Select 3A Medium C 83 x 92
10" radius
Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood w/o fake-looking ‘finger wear’.
Truss rod: dual-acting, adjust at heel
6105 Medium Nickel Silver
Mother-of-pearl face dots
2mm mother-of-pearl side dots
Tusq nut
Nut width: 1.650" (42mm)
Pyramid .011 stainless steel strings

PICKUPS

Bill Asher “Sweet-T” bridge (8.57 k)
Jim Weider “Big-T” neck (6.9k made by Lindy Fralin)

HARDWARE

Glendale “raw deal” bridge plate
Glendale ‘60s threaded compensated saddles
Glendale “raw deal” control plate
Glendale “raw deal” neck plate
Callaham stainless steel string ferrules
Callaham stainless steel old style round string tree
TonePros Kluson Tuners 6 In-Line Press In Bushing TPKF6-N, nickel finish

Very nice guitar, but since it is not a Fender, it really shouldn't carry a Fender logo. It's not just wrong, it's most likely illegal as well.
You are honest and open about its origins, but somewhere down the line a future owner/seller may not be.

You're probably right. But I figure a neck licensed by Fender has to mean something.

Thanks. The worst that can happen if nobody buys it is I'll get to keep it.

Wrong and most likely illegal?

Give me a break!

It's described and titled as a Partscaster.

Nice guitar.

That's a Souldier strap, made out of recycled car seat belts or something. Really neat little straps. http://www.souldier.us/

Please close. It's about to undergo another transformation and I expect I'll keep it.
