I have a USB sound card, and have a problem recording from one computer file to another using the "Stereo Mix" because that selection is not available. Any ideas (preferably free) to fix it, other than a cable from SPK Out to Line In? _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

There is a software program that emulates the Stereo Mix for systems that do not have that. But, I don't remember what its called. I'll have to look it up.
But, to make sure you don't have Stereo Mix and its just disabled, in the Sound Panel Recording section, RIGHT click in a blank area in that panel and then click to show Disabled and Disconnected devices. Then see if Stereo Mix is listed (and if it is enable it). _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat, SIT Strings

Thanks Jack. It's not there at all in my system. I have looked at some applications, some didn't work, other cost lots, a few have viruses packaged with them ( I always run a virus scan on anything I download before I think about installing it.). _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)
