If I replaced my 6th G# Live SS Steel plain .20 with a wound, what gauge would I use...B pedal pulls up to A and F pedal pulls up to A#..trying to reduce the cabinet drop when the C pedal is engaged...Thanks, Larry _________________ Excel steels & Peavey amps,Old Chevys & Motorcycles & Women on the Trashy Side

.022 is typical. You'll need to adjust rodding a smidge. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Just curious Larry, are you trying to compensate your 6th string when both pedal B and C are engaged or when using pedal C alone? _________________ Jerry Jones |

Jerry, with just the C pedal..G# goes down 14 cents..also goes a little flat with the A pedal.. Larry _________________ Excel steels & Peavey amps,Old Chevys & Motorcycles & Women on the Trashy Side |
