Tom Brumley's Tom Cattin Tab along with my Emmons push pull seems to be pulling me out of my steel guitar funk. Thanks to all who listened to my rant and sorry for the negativity. Just your run of the mill public mid life crisis... Razz

That's good to hear, Karen.
The steel guitar has so many aspects to explore.
Buddy sometimes spoke about the importance of the "corrective process".
To me, that means being able to recognize what one would like to improve on or change.
Seeing/hearing improvement is a great motivator, as you probably know.

Karen, I am glad to hear the good news from my old home town. Tom Brumley inspired me to resume playing after standing down for almost 20-years. "In Time" really got my attention. Much thanks to Todd Brumley for sharing video of Tom in the studio with Steve Wariner. Sure wish I could find a copy of the CD.

Everybody was just waiting for the sunrise. Knew you had it in you.
Like Dr. Gorr said, we live for these things. Cool Emmons.

Never met Rolene Brumley, but I found her reminiscences and anecdotes in Eileen Fisk's biography of Buck Owens both astute and fascinating.

A welcome contributor to this Forum, and a great lady indeed.
