I think I have asked this before, but I still have never found a style that I think really sounds good with Hawaiian music...i would think a uke sound would be nice, but I really havent come with anything that sounds decent. What do you use for use with songs like Blue Hawaii, Lovely Hula Hands, and other pretty commercial Hawaiian tunes such as these ? _________________ Zum Encore, Remington D8 non pedal, Hallmark Mosrite clone, Gretsch 6120 DSW, Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90,1976 Ibanez L5, Eastman archtop, Taylor Dreadnaught, Telonics pedal, Squire Tele, Squire Strat, Fender Tonemaster, Gold Tone 5 string banjo, Little Wonder tenor banjo, 3 Roland cubes 30s and 80, Carvin combo bass amp |

Hi Larry,
I am a Hawaiian Steel Guitar player and use the following in the 2010.5 BIAB program:
UKEBASS AND AC BASS (on b)
ZZ JAZZ - JAZZ SWING STYLE
ZZ JAZWAL - JASS WALTZ STYLE
These are the best in the 2010.5 BIAB for Hawaiian backup.
They are just adequate, and I would still like to see more improvement in the Hawaiian backup section of BIAB.
Maybe, later editions of BIAB offer more. I have not chosen to get these later editions because I just use what I have for practice. That is sufficient. |
