I've found that the steel guitar is a wench magnet.
Sadly, often of the same polarity of wench. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Back when I was younger, I used get nice women interested. Now, not even the wenches are interested. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |

Richard....I cannot believe that
Some are still intrigued as to what instrument I'm playing. A well dressed expensive looking woman came up to me at a show and asked "Is that some type of Piano??" ...I replied "Well....it has strings"

Sure, it's a magnet for wenches. Wenches who are disguised as attractive women. When the attraction becomes mutual the wenches lose their disguise. This applies only to wenches, not to true women, who are pure of heart. I am blessed to be with the real deal, and never let her forget how I feel.

We called 'em "pins" here in the States back in the Forties and Fifties. So not really new. Just fell out of common usage, kinda like "gat." _________________ Dr. Z Surgical Steel amp, amazing!

Also used to be called gams. Especially in the cheap paperback detective novels. |
