I have nothing to do with this sale but there is a Frypan and matching amp for sale on Craigslist here in PDX.

I see the same advertisement on the San Francisco Bay Area version of craigslist. I think his price is pretty high, but as they say, go find another one.

I've never seen a Rick Frypan with the tone and volume controls located where they are on that one.

Yeah, it looks like that second control was added after the guitar left the factory. And I don't think the knobs are correct for that era.

I don't see the "pat pending" stamp on the body end near the bridge, so it's likely earlier than 1937.
Hard to say where the seller determined what year it was, since serial numbers don't mean much on early frypans....
