Well good to be back and brain is getting more and more functional as we speak...ha.
Yes that Marlen was made in January of 1972.
A luxury finish job on that. And that is the most loaded up Marlen I have ever seen....looks great underneath.

you are so right my friend, I've never seen one with 10 pedals before... I didn't know Mr. Stadler was loading them up like that, I bet you there is some floating around with 6 knee levers too...

Well Marlen was truly a "Custom" built steel guitar when someone ordered one. If they came in and told Leonard what they wanted; he would build it and because of that, I certainly have seen some WOW amount of stuff on there; but NEVER this amount. Incredible. Heck Doug J. turned his sho~bud in to Shot around '71. So I bet he had Leonard build this for him???ha...seems like something Doug would have ordered.
Anyway; sorry for babbling on and on, but I just love how things were done in history and not really much today...ha.

Damir, that guitar's previous owner, must have been an LSU TIGER FAN. because the color of the lacquer is the school colors of the LSU Tigers in the SEC. I showed the picture to my wife and she agreed.
That guitar needs to be here on the BAYOU!

I would love to, however right now the funds are a bit on the tight side. I have Ron Elliot's red EMCI. I have had it for the last three years. and I am pretty happy with it.
