Very Happy We just attended the Friday night Grand Ole Opry
show on 7/24/15.
If any of you saw it on TV, internet or whatever,-do you know who the steel players were? From where I sat,- I couldn't recognize them. There were 2 or 3
there. Very good.

Wally, did you have to get tickets ahead of time or can you just get them there?

Didn't see it, but I'm sure one of them would have been the great Tommy White..

Very Happy Thanks for your replies Henry & Larry.
We ordered our tickets on-line a couple months ago and picked them up at the box office when we got there Friday evening. We were staying about 15-20 miles from Nashville so we hired a shuttle to take us (10 family members)to the Opry. Good idea because there are thousands of cars, taxis etc there and traffic is slow, slow, slow. They dropped us off a couple hundred feet from the entrance. The staff at the Opry are really super assisting this old 84-year geezer to the elevators, lifts and seats.
When I decided I could not climb 20+ steps almost straight up,- they found me and my wife really nice seats on the level we were on at the time.
Larry,- the Whites' were on the program but I didn't know it was Tommy White on steel. Probably was. He is good.

Wally:
Tommy White was playing the Whites show. Buck did a great San Antonio Rose with Tommy on Steel which is always exciting. I wasn't there but heard it on Willies Roadhouse.
