Recently received my Clinesmith Aluminum with the horseshoe pick-up.
A wonderful instrument with sustain for days.
Todd was great to deal with, kept me apprised of progress and delivery. Pleasure to do business with him. |

I too recently received my long scale/horseshoe Clinesmith aluminum. It combines all of the things I like the best about the early fry pans I've had, but adds a character of its own that's hard to describe. It has the growly midrange of the early Ricks that I like so much, but with a more extended high and low end. Sustains forever. A very detailed, textured sound (if that makes any sense), and it plays wonderfully. At any rate, it's a great guitar, and Todd was great to work with.

|
|
Todd,
Very nice work. I have started looking for a lap steel. Played pedal steel for years. 8 strings are hard to find. Here is my email, tmont53@yahoo.com.
Please send me a brief explanation on how you do your order process and turn around time for delivery.
I live in Fort Worth, Texas. Will you be at the Texas show this year?
Thanks,
TM |

I love my long-scale blade pickup S8 Cast Aluminum Clinesmith. Best single neck lap steel I have ever played, makes me want to play more, makes me smile from ear to ear. Is there any better reason to order one? Not for sale. (:
Todd, you are the man, thank you.
