just a few more days 'til saturday nite and the biggest country music package show in over 50 years in the great state of mississippi. 26 country music classic personalities, several of those with grammy's and more awards than you can shake a stick at plus 4 places and or events of country music importance. an 8 piece stage band w/ fiddle, steel lead and piano that plays as it needs to be played. 8 singers and a 12 member clogging team(2 units), cover the entire length of mississippi's country music trail from the climate controlled, soft seat comfort of the historic elkin theatre in the ante bellum town of aberdeen, mississippi.
come see why sherman spared this town on his journey across the south and why we take our journey from here. country music at it's finest 3 hours.

I just heard last nite that the tickets are mostly sold out for this event! if everyone shows that bought advance tickets, and I think the most will, the best problem to have will be, where are they gonna sit.
the good thing is, it's not a bad seat in the house....

thanks bill, looking forward to gulfport in november.
just let me say this.....man what a nite in the country last night.
the theatre seats 442 people. the manager said he counted 20 empty seats.
except for a high profile wedding once, he had never seen a crowd this big in the theatre. the crowd went on and on, that they had never seen a show like this anywhere except the grand ole opry. the show went smooth as silk.
an 8 piece band, 12 cloggers and 10 singers covered the 30 markers on mississippi's country music trail in 3 action packed hours and no one left 'til we did the finale. it was something for everybody and it was classic country music!
