This Rukavina console steel has been well loved and well taken care of.
It comes with a padded carrying case that will hold the steel guitar as well as the 3 chrome legs in their custom d2f padded cover.
It makes for a real nice and compact easy traveling setup.
$600 + shipping.

Some folks have asked via email regarding some of the specs and here's what I can say:
The scale length is 22.5 inches.
The fretboard is made of Koa.
I'm unclear as to the wood used for the body (perhaps Ryan can chime in if he is keeping an eye on the forum these days).
The pickups were wound by Ryan himself.

Ryan Rukavina built an S-8 for me too in African Ribbon Mahogany. it is a string through with no legs and it is a wonderful work of art. His craftsmanship is excellent, my opinion of course.
Yours is a good deal especially with legs. And that is one hefty block of wood. Notice too how the tuners are not in the way of the bar hand at zero and 1 frets. Notice too how the strings aren't so high above the fret board that you can't judge parallax well. also notice the good placement of vol and tone controls and that they are far enough apart to get your fingers between them to operate while playing.
this would be an excellent jump start for someone wanting to get started on a non-pedal steel. And though it's not vintage it has the advantage of fresh new modern electronics. And a pocket for the picks and bar, how nice is that?
