The Alabama Gang has lost another of our own. Steel player Dennis Sanford passed this morning after a very brief illness. Our prayers are extended to his wife, Rita and step-son, Bubba.
We are really gonna miss him! |

I just got word about Dennis. I'm so sorry to hear this. We spent some very good times together with all our friends from my very special home state, Alabama. Good, good folks.
I'm sure Dennis didn't always wear that big, bear hug smile, but it's the only expression I ever saw on him. I'll think of him always that way. And, I'll look forward to seeing that same smile, all glorified, one day when we meet again....

Sure hate to hear the sad news about the passing of Dennis.
I sat with him at the Alabama steel show in Prattville.

So sorry to hear this sad news about Dennis. I thought a lot of Dennis, great guy, musician, and singer. He always wore this feel good HALO that touched everyone around him. RIP Dennis!
