Thanks for the comments guys. The serial number is 1896 D. I think it is a Fatback model. I don't have the Emmons serial list on hand so I'm not sure of the year. It is all original! _________________ Emmons D-10, ST-10,LD-10 III, NV-112,Fender Deluxe Reverb. Authorized wholesale dealer musicorp.com! |

The list off the Carter site indicates 74. Not sure how accurate it is but it should be close. I wish I had the money,. _________________ JCH D10, 71 D10 P/p fat back, Telonics TCA 500C--12-,Fender JBL Twin, Josh Swift signature. |

He's selling it for a friend, and I would assume that he doesn't have the guitar. I think Doug could tell if it's a fatback or not... |

Found this on my camera. Guess this answers your question. The guitar is in Concord, NC, but I have played it. It's everything I said it is.

I'm wondering if that is the gloss finish, or the mat finish. I might need one like that. Thanks, Tommy...... |

Tommy, I think this was called Arctic Blue. It is not a smooth polished finish but has a texture to it. I'm thinking satin would be a good way to describe it, but it isn't dull either. Sorry to be ambiguous on the color. It's a wonderful guitar, ready to play. All original. _________________ Emmons D-10, ST-10,LD-10 III, NV-112,Fender Deluxe Reverb. If it is like the identical guitar I had years ago, it has dual coil pickups. _________________ I need an Emmons! |

Hank Corwin had one that color, with closer 12 string spacing. It was an early 72. I don't recall ever seeing him play it, in later years, so it was probably sold. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat
