***Revised 4/13/17*** I went back over everything through the break in detail, made some changes, and completed the rest of the song today. "Cowboy Peyton Place" is another great tune off the late Doug Sahm's CD "The Return of Wayne Douglas". Tommy Detamore's steel playing is outstanding...the entire CD is an encyclopedia of Tommy D's great honky tonk steel intros, breaks, and fills. And in the case of "Cowboy Peyton Place", you have to like a lyric like "I'm in love with the steel player's wife" (unless you're the steel player!). Corrections and comments are always welcome.

Thank you Jeff. That's a lot of tab. Fun tab at that and really tasteful and cool playing.

The star means "harmonic" Carl... I probably should have written *=harmonic under it. place the bar at the 5th fret, play the harmonic at the 17th fret on the 5th string and then let it ring while adding the A pedal and sliding the bar to the 10th fret.
For the second part of it place the bar back at the 5th fret and play the 4th and 5th string harmonics at the 17th fret.

Thanks Jeff. I thought maybe it was that, but I wasn't sure.
This old man ain't no good with harmonics, but I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. The snow has finally melted in NH (what a winter!) and I'm starting to get busy with outdoor work - I'll see if I can finish the rest of this song soon if anyone would like it.

***check out the revised tab in the original post*** I had some time and went back over (and in some cases edited) everything I'd initially posted through the break and then completed the rest of the tune today. Enjoy some great Tommy Detamore steel!
