My wife Margie and I went to Laughlin Nevada tonight to see "The Troubador Experience" with MIKE Smith holding down the steel chair. Wow, this is the real deal. The musicians are all excellent players and the Lead singer John Eric is a close visual and vocal to The George Strait. The RIVERSIDE Casino Show Room was packed and the audience was into the show. Un pretentious and humbly delivered music by a group of seasoned players. Bass, Fiddle Zum Steel guitar, Lead guitar, drums and the singer. The show lasted 1 and 1/2 hours, non stop except to introduce the players. Tickets are $25.00 and you can't find a better show for the money, IMHO. The show will be there through Sunday. Had a nice visit with Mike and may return tomorrow for desert.

You are right on, Bill. The Troubadour Experience is a great show, and well worth the admission charge. If you like George Strait music, you will not want to miss this! All the musicians are great, and Mike Smith is the best....
