I've been missing a front leg for my Carter Starter since a gig Sunday night. I'm still hoping it'll turn up, but I need to start preparing for the possibility that it won't. My next show is April 10, and I'd really prefer not to have to cancel.

Is there anywhere I can order a single replacement leg? I found http://steelguitar.com/parts/parts_orderformNew.html but they only seem to sell kits with 2 or 4 legs. Am I better off having one made at a machine shop?

Al Brisco has the leg you need and he is good to deal with.

The first link posted above also takes you to Al Brisco's site. And, he only lists them in sets of 4. But, it wouldn't be a bad idea to call him. He's really a good guy.

While mr ivey might have the best idea, here's mine:
Make a three-legger out of it. Construction suggestion details available here on request. Cool

Good Luck on your search!

Call Al Brisco at the link you have here. He has the legs and He may sell you just one. If not let me know I have 5 sets and I could break a set up if your guitar has the same length leg as what I have.
