? About Lloyd Green

Some of the most beautiful steel I've every heard was Lloyd's playing on the Byrd's Sweetheart of the Rodeo. I was just wondering what sort of setup was used to produce the sound. I know about the LG ShoBud of the 1970's but what was he using back then?
