Frank and I disagree about everything, and we have had some huge debates in the old Off Topic section. But when I was in the hospital having surgery, it was Frank who came here and asked people to pray for my recovery.
The surgery itself was not as serious as Frank thought, and my life was never in any danger, but that's not the point.
Frank's a good guy. We may not agree on anything, but he has a good heart. I miss his input here. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

I have wondered the same thing. Back in the Clinton era, he really was the conservative standard bearer. Don't get him started on Vince Foster. |

Now there’s a bunch of us wondering! I don’t know him personally either, but I did buy a GFI from him a little over a year ago. It was a pleasant transaction and I get to smile every time I sit down to that guitar, because he sold it to me. I do hope everything is okay with him!! |

He was doing well about a year ago when I bought a push-pull from him. Great guitar! I think he and Clem talk every so often. |

Hi Mike and you guys,
I still read a lot of the Forum, but I guess middle age has taken away a little of the fire to play or even to attend shows.
Having bad knees has not helped. I mess around on electric guitar more than anything else and play the bass at church.
Thank you for all the kind remarks.

Hi John, I did buy it from you and had Mike Cass add much of Jernigan's C6 changes added to it. It was one of best sounding p/p's I ever owned. I wish I still had it. Had to sell for financial reasons. The guy who bought it stripped it down to 8 and 5.
Here it is in action:

Hey Frank, I'm glad to hear that you're still around. I miss the old "Off Topic" section where we both would gang up on Mike P.... Mike, I still disagree with on the political front but I've known you a long time and consider you a friend and I've always respected you and will continue to do so... You and Frank both have a great day and go to your respective corners.........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |
